An exciting General Manager opportunity has just become available with a specialist distributor to the catering industry. They seek an individual with experience of managing a fast-moving multi-drop distribution operation, to take day-to-day control of one of their sites in South London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively lead the distribution site operations, providing a reliable and punctual delivery service.
• Maintain a robust control over KPI's and ensure that all service levels are raised to the highest standards and operational effectiveness.
• Set strategy, drive innovation and lead change.
• Financial management of the site and control of budgets.
• Positively influence a large team on a day-to-day basis and through any necessary change programmes.

Key Skills/Experience:

• A strong multi-drop distribution background.
• Commercially aware with a strong focus on Customer Service and an appreciation of customer priorities.
• Financially astute with the ability to improve business efficiencies through effective cost control. budgeting, and the setting of financial targets and KPIs.
• Strong people management skills with the ability to manage a large multi-functional team.
