Behaviour Mentor - SEMH School - Shepherd's Bush, West London - Full-time - ASAP Start

Empowering Learning is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join a dynamic SEMH school located in the heart of West London, Shepherd's Bush. This challenging yet rewarding role is a full-time position with an immediate start, offering a daily rate of £90 - £100 (depending on experience).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with students exhibiting challenging behavior within a secondary special school setting.
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, fostering trust and rapport.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement personalized intervention plans.
  • Utilize strong behavior management skills to create a calm and patient atmosphere within the school.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience working with young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH).
  • Completion of manual handling training is essential.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a patient approach.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
