83zero is excited to be partnered with a growing software vendor in the Software Defined Storage space, who is expanding it's Engineering team!

Their team is based in the UK, on a remote basis. However, they're also open to candidates based remotely in Ireland, Germany, Greece or Bulgaria.

Your Responsibilities

  • Developing high-quality software designs and architecture.
  • Provide input and feedback towards designs and code implementation.
  • Identifying, prioritizing, and executing tasks in the software development life cycle.
  • Mentoring and providing technical advice and leadership to junior team members.
  • Contributing to the ongoing evolution of existing applications and systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and management.
  • Demonstrating strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail, completing and evidencing code quality.
  • Problem solving, including testing and debugging software.
  • Investigating and staying up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Key Skills

  • Proven work experience in software development
  • Strong knowledge of software methodologies, tools and processes
  • Solid knowledge of relevant programming languages and scripting
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Strong experience working with C development
  • Experience working across Linux kernels
  • Experience working with Python
  • Any experience with Storage & Data Services market including Software and Cloud would be beneficial
