83zero is excited to be partnered with a growing software vendor in the Software Defined Storage space, who is expanding it's Engineering team!
Their team is based in the UK, on a remote basis. However, they're also open to candidates based remotely in Ireland, Germany, Greece or Bulgaria.
Your Responsibilities
- Developing high-quality software designs and architecture.
- Provide input and feedback towards designs and code implementation.
- Identifying, prioritizing, and executing tasks in the software development life cycle.
- Mentoring and providing technical advice and leadership to junior team members.
- Contributing to the ongoing evolution of existing applications and systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and management.
- Demonstrating strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail, completing and evidencing code quality.
- Problem solving, including testing and debugging software.
- Investigating and staying up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
Key Skills
- Proven work experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of software methodologies, tools and processes
- Solid knowledge of relevant programming languages and scripting
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Strong experience working with C development
- Experience working across Linux kernels
- Experience working with Python
- Any experience with Storage & Data Services market including Software and Cloud would be beneficial
