My client is looking to recruit for a Customs Clearance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring all compliance with HMRC and other regulatory bodies is up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process customs clearance and transportation.
- Serve as the primary contact for service providers and customs agents.
- Handle customs documentation
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in import customs clearance (ocean & air).
- Proficiency in Customs Declaration Service (CDS).
- Strong word processing and spreadsheet software skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Competency in CDS, CNS & Destin8 systems.
