Area Services Coordinator  
Home-based role with regular travel across a wide geographical area, covering 9 of our houses

  • 35 hours per week, permanent position
  • Flexible work arrangements
  • £26,000 - £28,000 per annum dependent on experience

About the Role:

As the Area Services Coordinator, you will be pivotal in ensuring the effective operational management of our support services and housing. Working closely with the Area Services Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations across multiple locations, ensuring our clients receive consistent, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Area Services Manager and partner with service providers for trauma-informed, holistic support.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and support staff and volunteers.
  • Oversee daily operations of housing units and manage the referrals system.
  • Monitor and improve client pathway quality, addressing risks and safeguarding.
  • Ensure effective housing management, health and safety, and tenancy adherence.
  • Provide out-of-hours management support on a rota system.
  • Implement Equality Policy, service improvements, and comply with Data Protection and Health and Safety policies.


The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for making a difference. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing trauma-informed care.

  • Experienced in managing support services and housing operations with strong operational and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in trauma-informed care, holistic support needs, and managing risks and safeguarding issues.
  • Skilled in recruiting, training, and developing staff and volunteers.
  • Effective in supervising and supporting staff and volunteers.
  • Knowledgeable in housing management, health and safety, and tenancy adherence.
  • Flexible to provide out-of-hours support as needed.
  • Committed to equality, diversity, and continuous service improvement.
  • Understanding of data protection regulations and best practices.
