Development Monitoring Surveyor
Real Estate Lender - Fully Remote
£50,000 - 70,000 + bonus + benefits
This real estate lender provides bridging and development finance to property developers within the residential and commercial sectors. Their loan book is expanding year or year with increased headcount across all teams.
Due to expansion, they seek a development monitoring surveyor to join their existing monitoring team to oversee and monitor proposed and active developments. As client-side monitor, they lead the internal monitoring process with support from external monitoring consultants.
Ideally, you will be a recently chartered professional with circa 2-3 year's experience in a building surveying, quantity surveying or project management role. You should be passionate about property and finance.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Due diligence of proposed developments
- Monitoring of development progress
- Managing financial risk
- Instructing and managing external teams
- Stakeholder management
- Site visits
Candidate attributes:
- Degree qualified in a property related subject
- Ideally chartered, MRICS or equivalent
- Experience in a building surveying, quantity surveying or related role
- Experience in development/project monitoring
- Passionate about property and finance
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
