£30,000 - £41,333/annum

Location: North East Derbyshire (near Chesterfield and Sheffield)

Are you passionate about music education and inspiring young minds? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Music Teacher to join our vibrant school community in North East Derbyshire. Our school is conveniently located close to both Chesterfield and Sheffield, offering a supportive and engaging environment for both students and staff.

Position: Full-Time Music Teacher
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
Contract: Fixed Term until Christmas 2024 (with potential for extension)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons to students in KS3 & KS4
  • Foster a love of music and creativity in students
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities related to music

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching Music at the secondary school level is essential
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A passion for music and education
