Hours: 8am until 5pm (Monday to Friday)

Polytec are looking for a reliable Mechanical Assembler for our client based just north of Cambridge. This role will suit a school / college leaver looking to work in a small high tech engineering company. Due to the village location, you will need to have your own transport.
Responsibilities:
* Precision mechanical assembly work using hand tools
* Testing of products on completion of assembly, rectifying any faults and preparing items for despatch
* Assist with stores and shipping
* Opportunities may exist to assist with design work for candidates with the right aptitude
Requirements:
* Excellent eyesight
* Good timekeeping skills
* Good manual dexterity
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Good problem-solving skills
* Initiative to work things through and know when to seek assistance
* Computer literate, competent using MS Office, particularly Excel
* Driving licence and own transport
