Business Analyst - £500 per day - Inside IR35 - Remote with occasional attendance to a site in Central London - Contract until 31/12/2024.
My client, a major renewable energy company, specialising in wind power, solar power, and battery storage technology, is looking for an experiences Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process design and development, with the ability to articulate and communicate processes effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Process Documentation: Articulate and document processes to support system design, ensuring clarity and accuracy to drive successful project delivery.
- Impact Analysis: Understand and communicate impacted processes due to system changes or enhancements, ensuring stakeholders are aware of the potential impact on their workflows.
- Requirements Influence: Influence requirements based on process design, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and process improvements.
- Development Review: Review developments and package implementation, providing feedback and updates to governance frameworks and developing procedures accordingly.
- Training Material Development: Develop comprehensive training materials, including user guides, SOPs, and training modules, to ensure end-users understand and can effectively utilize the new processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and senior management, to gather feedback, address concerns, and conduct procedure reviews.
- UAT Support: Provide support for system User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, test case creation, test execution, and defect management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery and smooth process implementation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong understanding of process articulation, design, and development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and process designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to influence requirements based on process design and effectively communicate the impact of changes to stakeholders.
- Experience in reviewing developments and package implementation to update governance frameworks and develop procedures.
- Proficiency in training material development, including user guides, SOPs, and training modules.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships and conduct effective procedure reviews.
- Familiarity with system UAT testing processes and best practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
