We are currently supporting our fantastic client who are an independent construction training provider who are recruiting for a Quality Manager. You will join a rapidly growing business who are looking for people who want to be effective and who are used to working hard and achieving personal success. The provider delivers a range of programmes, including AEB, Apprenticeships, and Commercial funded courses across a number of specialists back grounds.

***Hours - MON - THURS 8:30am - 4:30pm / FRI -8:30am -12:30pm***

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Alongside a good understanding of the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework, you must have strong and proven experience of successful quality monitoring and assurance against a ESFA funding regulations.
  • A can-do and upbeat attitude to work, colleagues and clients.
  • An initiative-taker and self-manager who can get things done and work systematically and thoroughly.
  • Solutions focussed with detailed attention to both the outcomes and the inputs to secure them with integrity and standards that mirror those of the business – where people and success matter
  • Good attention to detail with a “gets things right first” approach.
  • Runing report from the MIS system
  • A natural completer finisher, with thoroughness and accuracy 
  • Able to use judgement and escalate issues as and when required.
  • A confident user of IT
  • Experience of working with the Skills Funding Agency or other Government funded programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely quality data reports, comprehensive way and one that enables improvement.
  • Confident in sampling strategies.
  • Be able to self-manage, setting clear priorities and absorb a substantial amount of work in a comprehensive and efficient way.
  • Update systems in real time and with clear and comprehensive information.
  • Keep up to date with funding regulations.
  • Ultimately be judged on the number and quality of monitoring you deliver as well as the standards of teaching and learning across the provider.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • TAQA, equivalent or to relevant sector requirements
  • IQA, equivalent or to relevant sector requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of coaching to support learning.
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload.

  • £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
  • 4.5-day week – Half day on a Friday!
