Quality Engineer for leading building materials manufacturer - Hertfordshire

Hours of work:  Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexible working hours).

Location:  Hertfordshire.

Duration: Permanent position.

Salary: Upto £40k (depending on your skills and experience)

You  will be involved in:

• Quality investigations (RCA, CAPA).
• Conducting training and development exercises across the laboratory, production and engineering.
• Reporting quality measurements against KPIs and internal auditing.
• Collating and reviewing data to make improvements to site operations and quality.
• Look at and implementing continuous improvement activities across the site.

What do you need to be considered?

You will need:

• Science or engineering qualification ideally to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Experience of Quality systems (CAPA, NCR, RCA, internal auditing).
• A desire to manage staff and to deputise for the Quality Manager when required.
• Knowledge of lean & six sigma principles in relation to problem solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
