Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Tier 1 Residential Developer
Clapham, SW London (flexi working available)

Your Next Role
We're looking for a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor with some basic QSing experience to join this Tier 1 housebuilder on a brand new project in Clapham. This hands-on role is perfect for someone early in their career, looking to build on their foundational knowledge and skills. You'll be an integral part of a small yet highly experienced commercial team, supporting the management of a £90m new build residential project consisting of over 300 units in various blocks built in a single phase.
An Assistant QS role with this business will involve close collaboration with various departments such as Land, Development, and Construction, attending design meetings to provide cost-related advice. Responsibilities include supporting sub-contract procurement and package management, preparing tender documentation, analyzing construction costs, and assisting in budget settlement meetings. Additionally, the position involves aiding in the preparation of stage payment schedules to facilitate project financing.
