A leading company in Worksop is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to uphold the highest standards of mechanical operations within their state-of-the-art facility. This full-time position offers a generous salary of £38,000 per annum, rewarding the expertise and commitment brought to the team.

39-hour week across a three-shift system (days, nights and afters)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee the safe and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment
  • Execute planned maintenance in sync with the factory's Scheme of Maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively regarding equipment or process issues and potential enhancements.
  • Have a knowledge of lean manufacturing and be actively involved in continuous improvement events.

Experience Required:

  • ONC Mechanical or equivalent qualification.
  • Completion of a Mechanical/Maintenance Engineering Apprenticeship
  • Proficiency in mechanical practices.
  • Practical knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Experience with Injection Moulding and Power Press operations.
  • A working knowledge of CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems).
  • The ideal candidate will possess a broad understanding of mechanical manufacturing machinery processes and demonstrate exceptional communication skills.
  • The ability to self-motivate, organise, and prioritise tasks is crucial in this role.
