Branch Sales Coordinator - temp to perm opportunity

The Role:

To promote the full range of products and services to both potential and existing customers. Our Internal Sales Coordinators use a range of selling techniques effectively to identify opportunities and maximise profitable sales. Deliver an excellent level of customer service with a positive can do attitude reinforcing the ‘Best in the Business’ principles.

1. To understand your customer base and liaise regularly with the external account manager regarding customer requirements.

2 To manage enquiries from initial contact to invoice to customer by identifying the products or materials required by the customer, offering alternatives if necessary to profitably maximise the sale of goods.

3 To exceed personal sales targets through taking responsibility and maintaining control of discount/margin for your own customer ledger.

4 To identify new customers by regularly making proactive sales calls. During these outgoing calls you will capture and convert any sales opportunities whilst developing your relation with the new customer.

5 Negotiating and building relationships with key suppliers and their representatives.

6 To provide a focal point for customer queries, dealing politely and efficiently with all requests for information.

7 To maintain knowledge of products and materials, their qualities and uses, sizes and quantities in which they are sold, remaining aware of price movements as a result of price increase, scarcity of stock and special offers.

8 To participate and drive your development through training and learning from others.

9 To ensure all cash and credit sales procedures and documentation are completed correctly without error, maintaining a day book, actioning all enquiries/orders taken and being proactive in following up quotes on the QMS system.

10 To ensure all documentation is correct, and records maintained in line with Company policy, paying particular regard to Company credit procedures.

11 To ensure Company Stay Safe, security, and smoking policies are observed at all times.

12 To assist in stock taking as and when required.

Skills:

● Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. ● Ability to identify, understand and respond to customer needs. ● Ability to work on own initiative with a minimum of supervision. ● Excellent customer service skills. ● Ability to work as a member of a team. ● Sound product knowledge. ● Good organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise. ● IT experience. ● Good numerical skills.

The Internal Sales Coordinator role is needed to provide excellent customer service to all customers in order to push and achieve profitable sales and targets. This role will be specifically utilised to work alongside a team of Internal Sales Coordinators within Branch to drive branch sales targets and educate and engage our existing and potential customers on our products. The expectation of this role is to build strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders in order to produce a seamless customer experience with excellent customer service.

Wage is dependant on experience 26K-30k per annum
