Are you an Oncology Nurse looking for a new challenge? Our client is looking for a Specialist Nurse in Oncology to join their team in a leading private hospital in Canterbury. As an Oncology Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
  • Working closely with Oncologists
  • Conducting pre-chemo assessments, chemotherapy delivery, and new patient consultations
  • Maintaining professional standards as per NMC Codes and HCPC guidelines
  • Utilising advanced communication and documentation skills
  • Managing time effectively and working both autonomously and as part of a team

The ideal candidate for the Oncology Nurse role should have:
  • Registered Nurse - Diploma or BSc
  • Willingness to develop or already hold a SACT passport or SACT post-graduate degree
  • Essential experience in Oncology/Hematology
  • Experience in pre-chemo assessment, chemotherapy delivery, and new patient consultations
  • Advanced communication and excellent documentation skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • A patient-centred approach and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
