Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Teacher of Computer Science and Media to join our team starting in September 2024. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in two cutting-edge subjects, preparing them for the digital world.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Computer Science and Media, following the national curriculum.

Develop students' skills in programming, digital literacy, media production, and critical analysis.

Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Computer Science and Media curricula.

Engage with extra-curricular activities and provide additional support where necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching Computer Science and/or Media at the secondary school level.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology and media.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.
