We are currently recruiting for a Senior Design Engineer within an engineering company in Fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver designs on time and within budget
- Manage resources to prioritise high-priority tasks
- Collaborate with Senior Management on cross-office projects
- Incorporate requirements from relevant Authorities and Statutory bodies into designs
- Review and authorize design information and reports
- Ensure designs follow MCHW, DMRB, and local guidelines
- Encourage innovation and continuous improvement
- Comply with Health & Safety legislation, especially CDM Regulations, and manage risks proactively
- Experience with Section 278 and Section 38 highway design projects
- Proactive management skills for team oversight with varied workload
- Strong technical skills in diverse highway design environments
- Proven project management, delivering on time and within budget
- Experience in developing, mentoring, and supervising Highway Design staff
- Knowledge of highways technical documents in DMRB
- Experience developing contract documents for Highway projects
- Highway drainage design experience and proficiency in Micro Drainage software
- Ability to advise clients on technical highway structures issues at a senior level
- Working knowledge of Civils 3D CAD package
- Member of the relevant Chartered Institute (desirable)
- Experience in the provision of cost-estimates (desirable)
