Job title: Senior Mechanical Process Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Start date: ASAP - Subject to clearance
Duration: 12 months
Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £50-£70/hr Umbrella
Location: Devonport - Required on site once a month
Hours of work: 35 hours per week

Applicants must have experience of the following:

- A degree or equivalent in relevant field
- Significant demonstrable engineering experience
- Nuclear industry experience
- Good understanding of engineering design and safety practice
- Project specification, planning, project management and budgeting experience
- IT literate

Ideally applicants should also have:
- Chartered status or membership of relevant institute

Role information:

- Manage the delivery of nuclear process work packages to scope, quality, schedule and cost requirements
- Manage the technical aspects of engineering packages from startup to handover
- Provide subject matter expert advice
- Develop technical design packages
- Ensure design documentation covers the agreed scope
- Ensure effective quality management arrangements
- Ensure activities are appropriately documented and records are kept updated
