Job Summary:
The Store Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Dublin store, ensuring high standards of customer service, driving sales, and managing the team. The successful candidate will be a proactive leader with strong organizational skills and a passion for retail.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Profitability:
Drive store sales to meet and exceed targets.
Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales volumes to maximize profits.
Identify and implement strategies to increase sales and improve store performance.
Customer Service:
Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
Maintain a customer-focused environment that prioritizes service excellence.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and develop store staff to maintain a high-performing team.
Schedule and manage staff shift to ensure optimal coverage.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Store Operations:
Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual presentation.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage store budgets, including expenses and payroll.
Inventory and Stock Control:
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate inventory.
Conduct regular stock audits and manage stock discrepancies.
Implement effective stock management practices to minimize losses.
Marketing and Promotions:
Plan and execute in-store promotions and marketing activities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance store visibility and attract customers.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail management role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
A customer-centric attitude and a passion for retail.
