Are you a Freelance Quantity Surveyor looking for a part-time 3 day p/week contract?
Perhaps you're working for other clients and need an extra few days per week?
If so, this role could be for you.
Responsibilities:
- Project administration (Commercial and project spreadsheets etc.)
- Raising payment certs for subcontractors
- External valuations, re-measures and pricing variations
- Prioritise and manage time whilst working to deadlines
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Preparing reports for senior commercial management team
Requirements:
- Be a confident and reliable Quantity Surveyor who can "own" the commercial function of the project
- To be site based 2 days p/week
- Extensive experience in a civil engineering environment (groundworks concrete, drainage etc.)
- Degree or HND qualified in relevant subject
- Possess strong numeracy and report writing skills
- Experience working for large principal construction and civil engineering contractors
