Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HGV Driver with a Hiab Hook Loader certification to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our HGV vehicles, equipped with Hiab Hook Loader, to transport goods and materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate HGV vehicles with Hiab Hook Loader equipment for the transportation of goods and materials.
  • Ensure the safe loading, securing, and unloading of Plant & Rail machinery.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle logs, and any incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
  • Perform routine maintenance and report any vehicle issues to the fleet manager.
  • Provide excellent customer service and always represent the company in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 driving license.
  • Certified to operate Hiab Hook Loader equipment.
  • Proven experience as an HGV driver, preferably with Hiab Hook Loader experience.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Strong understanding of transportation and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible with working hours and willing to work weekends and overtime as regularly.
