Night Assistant

1 week is 4 on 3 off the following week is 3 on 4 off.
Weekdays the hours are 8.30pm - 2.30am.
Weekend nights are 8.30pm - 4.30am.

Job Purpose
The Night Assistant will work across a defined geographical area, assisting in delivering high-quality support, security, and housing services to clients of our supported schemes.

Night Assistant Key Responsibilities

• Understand client support needs and contribute to achieving their agreed outcomes.
• Implement night security systems, ensuring overall safety and security of the scheme.
• Effectively manage and address any anti-social behaviour incidents.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards, prepare rooms, and conduct site inspections.
• Assist service users with day-to-day tenancy issues, rent payments, and other scheme requirements.
• Assist colleagues in meeting key performance indicators (e.g., voids arrears and outcome targets).
• Promote empowerment and independence among service users.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in a housing support role.
• Enhanced DBS.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and engage in lone working situations.

The Package
This is a temporary, Night Assistant worker role, for an initial 3 months, covering the recruitment process for a permanent team member, meaning the role could be extended, or become permanent.
