Our Calne based client is now seeking a skilled and motivated welder to join their expanding team to assist in delivering high-quality engineering solutions across multiple sectors throughout the UK.

Position: Welder
Salary: £13-15ph
Hours: Mon - Thurs 7:30 to 16:30, Friday 7:30 to 13:30
Location: Calne

Job Description: As a Welder, you will be responsible for:

* Performing various welding techniques, including MIG & TIG to join metal parts.
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
* Inspecting welds for accuracy and quality, adjusting as necessary.
* Operating and maintaining welding equipment and tools.
* Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards.
* Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a welder.
* Proficiency in MIG & TIG welding techniques.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Strong safety mindset with knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Relevant welding certifications and qualifications.

Desirable:

* Experience in various welding positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).
* Knowledge of metal properties and other materials.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
