Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Programme Leader Skills for Life for a Local Authority Client based in West London.

In this role, you will lead and manage the Skills for Life programme, ensuring high-quality curriculum delivery and maximising learner achievement and success within the Adult Learning & Skills Service.



About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

  • Lead, manage, and develop the SfL (Skills for Life) programme area, ensuring alignment with service priorities and objectives.
  • Support SfL curriculum planning and input courses onto the EBS system.
  • Line manages an agreed number of established and sessional SfL teaching staff within the curriculum area.
  • Monitor, assess, review, and record learners' progress and achievement.
  • Provide pre-course, on-course information, advice, and assessment to support learners' progress and identify potential next steps.



About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Must have a degree or an equivalent qualification at Level 4.
  • A generic adult teaching/training qualification at Level 5 (e.g., DET/PGCE or equivalent).
  • Comprehensive experience and understanding of adult learning, including experience with Ofsted inspection and quality frameworks.
  • Experience implementing effective quality assurance and quality control frameworks.
  • Experience using management information systems and other service intelligence tools.

What's on offer

Salary: £206ph+per day

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week
