Position: Credit Controller

Location: Hackney, London

Work Model: In Office, Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm (1 day WFH a week)

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000pa

We have partnered with a dynamic property developer and operator specialising in revitalising unique buildings for creative industries. With a diverse portfolio across London and Devon, they're on the brink of an exciting expansion period.

As a Credit Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in the finance team, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. Your responsibilities will include meeting monthly receivables targets, maintaining cash flow forecasts, and overseeing credit control processes. You'll be instrumental in assessing creditworthiness, managing resident communications and improving billing and collection processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meeting targets in monthly receivables and minimising bad debt
• Cash flow forecasting and analysis
• High volume of calls and emails chasing debtors
• Assessing creditworthiness and setting payment terms
• Overseeing billing processes and resident communications
• Improving billing and collection processes

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years' credit control experience
• Proficiency in Sage 200, CRM (Sugar), and credit rating reviews
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Persistence, tenacity, and assertiveness
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
• Autonomous with a team-player mindset
