Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial property matters related to asset portfolio management and the public sector.
• Handle a diverse caseload, providing expert advice on all aspects of land dealings.
• Offer expert legal advice on commercial property matters, including asset portfolio management, development, sale, lease, and governance of public sector land holdings.
• Support the clients objectives by aligning legal guidance with commercial property strategies and policies, demonstrating an understanding of local authority governance.
• Deliver timely and effective legal services to the clients and its partners.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in team systems and processes, contributing to ongoing enhancements in commercial property legal services.
• Participate in service improvement initiatives, supporting strategic and service objectives outlined in the Legal Services Strategy and Service Development Plan.

Person Specification:

• Fully qualified solicitor.
• Newly qualified welcome 0 PQE onwards.
• Proven track record in dealing with commercial property law in the public sector.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Ability to travel as needed.
