About the Role: Best in Class, the only recruitment agency based in Bradford, is excited to be supporting a highly regarded school in the BD10 area in their search for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The students you will be working with have Autism so experience working with students with Autism is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to the varying needs of students.
  • A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
  • A patient, caring, and empathetic nature.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
