Our client require Senior Finance Business Partners to lead a team of Finance Business Partners, providing complete financial commercial management for a highly complex portfolio of contracts.

Job Description

As Senior Finance Business Partner you will act as a trusted point of contact for business leaders, transforming financial and non-financial information into insight, which will influence decision making to improve financial performance.

​You will be accountable for reporting on all contractual and financial matters to the client team, as well as the end-to-end financial management for the client contracts.

​Driven and motivated, with demonstrable experience of making a difference you will be a naturally curious and commercially minded professional, with extensive experience in both internal and external stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying, assessing and impacting financial and commercial risk
  • Developing and maintaining a professional and proactive business relationship with senior levels of Client’s representatives; promoting ISS and development of services and understanding the changing needs of the client.
  • Building partnerships and strong relationships with all senior managers, stakeholders and their teams providing financial support to commercial decision making.
  • Challenging assumptions, influence decisions and make recommendations for efficiency improvements in order to sustain growth.
  • Demonstrating thought leadership by presenting alternative recommendations to existing approaches
  • Ensuring customer contract governance is adhered to, including client reporting, reconciliations and change notes governance are in place
  • Working with Key Account Directors/Portfolio Directors to generate challenging budgets and forecasts and identify remedial actions as required
  • Driving process improvements in working capital management by providing business expertise into the financial control team and reviewing final output

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
  • Demonstrable people management experience, drive and passion to deliver the best-in-class service.
  • Commercial finance experience in a commercial services contract environment
  • Prior experience in business partnering with clients and a clear understanding of client confidentiality.
  • Professional, committed, conscientious, pro-active and innovative.
  • Positive attitude to change and ability to be flexible to the changing priorities of the role.
  • Strong communicator able to communicate with clients, operations, suppliers and team.
  • Numerate, accurate and confident with working on your own initiative.
  • Analytical skills to make sense out of large sets of data and identify critical KPIs.
  • Ability to priorities workloads appropriately.
  • High level of computer literacy including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and financial systems.
