Job Title: Domiciliary Care Registered Manager
Location: near Waltham Abbey
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
We are seeking a passionate and driven Registered Manager to lead our dedicated team and take our service from 'Good' to 'Outstanding'. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring deputy or an experienced manager looking to make a significant impact in domiciliary care.
About Us: Our service currently provides approximately 2,000 hours per week of domiciliary care. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, compassionate care that meets the individual needs of our service users. As a Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing these standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of care staff, ensuring they are motivated, trained, and supported to deliver excellent care.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, including care planning, assessments, and service delivery.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and ensure all care practices adhere to CQC guidelines.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and achieve an 'Outstanding' CQC rating.
- Foster positive relationships with service users, their families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a senior care role, ideally as a deputy manager or registered manager within domiciliary care.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and proven track record of maintaining compliance.
- Ability to drive service improvement initiatives and deliver high standards of care.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
- Have or be working towards either a Level 4 (RMA) or Level 5.
