Academics are looking to recruit a Science Teacher to work within our client secondary schools covering both long and short-term teacher absence.

We are currently working with a number of secondary schools across Chester who are looking to appoint a Science Teacher for the new academic year.

You'll be responsible for delivering and planning Science lessons across key stage 3 and key stage 4 in either the planned or unplanned absence of the usual class teacher.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher that our schools are able to reply on.

ECT's are also encouraged to apply.

As a Science Teacher working on supply with us you will need:

• A proven track record of teaching Science across KS3, KS4 and/or KS5.
• To hold the relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed or BA Hons) with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status
• To be able to teach engaging Science lessons using you own initiative whilst having a excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for a new one through Academics (cost applied)
