Job Description
As an Equipment Manager at our client, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our analytical and production equipment. You’ll lead a team responsible for routine maintenance, ad-hoc repairs, qualification, and calibration of various equipment across our business. Your technical expertise and leadership will contribute to our overall success.

Responsibilities

Schedule Management: Efficiently manage the team’s schedule to ensure timely repair and servicing activities. Prioritize planned and unplanned maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime.
Technical Expertise: Develop specialized knowledge across a range of equipment types, including HPLC, UHPLC, Moisture Meters, Flow Meters, NGI’s, Temperature Probes, Balances, and Pipettes.

Procurement Leadership: Take the lead in procuring new equipment. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure equipment meets lab needs. Conduct tender processes and present recommendations to management.

Project Support: Assist in equipment-related projects, such as relocations and new equipment acquisitions.

Quality Assurance: Review and approve qualification data. Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and maintain accurate quality records.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor team performance against KPIs to deliver excellent service.

Effective Communication: Provide regular updates to management on team performance, equipment issues, and ongoing projects. Communicate effectively with your line manager.

Adaptability: Be flexible and supportive as business needs evolve.

GMP Compliance: Perform all tasks in accordance with Company procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline).
Proven experience in equipment management, maintenance, or related roles.
Strong technical knowledge of analytical and production equipment.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
