Role: Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)

Location: Walsall

Start Date: As soon as possible

Reporting to: Commercial Manager

PSR are working with a leading Civil Engineering Contractor who specialise in Water Infrastructure. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial support to project teams.

The Quantity Surveyor role:

• Ensure robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit level
• Ensure accurate cash flow reporting takes place
• Carry out cost management including forecasting
• Update the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans
• Help ensure that internal commercial processes are adhered to across the business unit
• Actively seek to improve processes and procedures

Essential requirements as a Quantity Surveyor:

• Knowledge of NEC
• Previous experience in the Civil Engineering industry
• HND/degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying
• Member of RICS or working towards (Desirable)
• Experience in Water Infrastructure (Desirable)
