Are you an experienced APU Repair & Overhaul Technician looking for a new opportunity?

We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled technician to join an aerospace manufacturer in Warwick. If you have expertise in APU 131-9 and Airbus A320 aircraft maintenance, modification, and repair, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • APU Strip Down and Overhaul: Conduct thorough strip down, assembly, disassembly, and modification or repair of 131-9 APUs and supporting complex aircraft systems, including hydraulics, flight controls, and propulsion
  • Maintenance and Fault Diagnosis: Perform maintenance activities, fault diagnosis, and functional tests on disturbed systems.
  • Safe Handling and Compliance: Work with peers to ensure safe handling of aircraft, adherence to established processes, accurate work recording, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Testing and Documentation: Validate and verify system and component testing, document procedures, and ensure compliance with repair, test results, modifications, and inspections.
  • Mentorship and Collaboration: Provide mentoring to peers and collaborate effectively within a team to perform tasks safely and efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Extensive experience working on 131-9 APU (Auxiliary Power Unit).
  • Familiarity with BAE 149 and Airbus A320 Aircraft, including relevant specifications and drawings.
  • Proven experience working within a team of aircraft technicians.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engine strip down processes, particularly on Airbus A320 platforms.
  • Vocational trade training is highly desirable.
  • Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance is required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in troubleshooting complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and associated electrical systems.
  • Strong proficiency in assembly, disassembly, and modification of aerospace vehicle components.
  • Capability to perform maintenance activities, fault diagnosis, and disturbed system functional tests.
  • Excellent documentation and process adherence skills.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal direction and provide mentoring to peers.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability
