Pay: £14.72-£15.50 Per Hour

Barker Ross are looking for a CSCS Labourer to join our clients team. As a CSCS Labourer, you will play a critical role in a large construction project in Leicester, by providing crucial on-site support. Your duties will include assisting with various tasks, ensuring the site is clean and free of hazards, and following all health and safety regulations.

This role could turn into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assisting skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, with their tasks.
• Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment.
• Moving and organising materials, ensuring they are easily accessible for construction teams.
• Clearing debris and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Following all health and safety regulations and reporting any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card.
• Previous experience working as a CSCS Labourer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and different locations as required.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
