We are currently seeking a Tooling Project Coordinator to join our team.

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage tooling projects from sales to delivery.
  • Lead project meetings, updating on timing, status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure projects meet quality, cost, and on-time delivery standards.
  • Coordinate with Sales Managers and Design Engineers on schedules and delivery changes.
  • Identify and assess specification changes and their impacts on costs and lead times.
  • Communicate capacity constraints and delays with Production Manager and team leaders.
  • Apply "Design for Manufacture and Assembly" principles.
  • Provide daily project updates to all stakeholders.
  • Monitor project costs and share insights for future cost improvements.
  • Track parts through production to meet delivery dates.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors for assembly readiness.
  • Optimize work scheduling to maximize capacity and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Aim to improve On-Time Delivery to over 95%.
  • Establish a robust process for "Design for Manufacture" with engineering teams.
  • Develop a tooling design cost model and database to enhance quoting accuracy.

Essential/Desirable:

  • Effective Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication in technical and business contexts.
  • High Work Ethic: Energetic, passionate, and resilient with the ability to handle long hours and multiple priorities.
  • Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • ERP/MRP Knowledge: Familiar with using ERP/MRP systems for data in timing plans and cost management.
  • Quality and Compliance: Adheres to quality and business procedures.
  • Regular Reporting: Updates progress reports regularly.
  • Data Management: Organizes and stores project data for future use.
  • Complex Information: Effectively analyzes and communicates complex information.
  • KPI Support: Aids in achieving KPIs for quality, cost, and delivery in tooling projects.
  • Team Mentorship: Provides coaching and mentoring to team leaders.
  • Supplier Coordination: Assists with purchasing and supplier follow-ups.
  • Quality Standards: Ensures compliance with TS16949, ISO14001, ISO9001, and other relevant standards.
