Are you bored of not having autonomy within Health and Safety? Are you looking for a company where the Leadership team actually invest and take safety seriously?

Principal People are exclusively supporting a manufacturing company who are looking for a new member to join the business. The company are looking for a HSEQ Manager and the position will consist of managing Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental matters for the business who have been established for over 55 years.

The role will be very operational and will involve a lot of ‘hands on’ HSEQ Advice throughout the site teams. You will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) who are all incredibly engaged towards Health and Safety.

The currently obtain ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and are looking to obtain ISO 45001 in the near future so experience within those systems will be great to have. The position will be majority Health and Safety (70%) focused with a smaller focus on Quality (20%) and Environmental (10%).

HSEQ Manager – £60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus – Manufacturing – Oldham


The key duties include:
  • Offering appropriate advice and support to the site teams within Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental matters
  • Implementing practical and effective methods to promote awareness to Health and Safety
  • To carry out operational Health and Safety duties such as risk assessments, method statements and accident investigations on the sites
  • Managing the Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental for the whole company
  • Creating positive relationships with the site teams to help improve the HSE Culture across the region

We would love to see CV’s from people who have:
  • A NEBOSH General Certificate (Diploma level preferred)
  • A Manufacturing, Fabrication and Engineering Background
  • Experience with working with all aspects of HSEQ
  • Live within 1hour drive of Oldham
  • The drive and passion for HSEQ Development
