Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with this stable and well established organisation based in Rotherham, to recruit a Finance Analyst/ Accountant to assist the Finance Manager with the implementation of their new finance system, and to support with the management accounts production, as well as the day to day finance operations.

This is an initial 6-9 month contract, but there is potential for extension as they business is going through an exciting period of change! 

Duties will include, but not be limited to: 

• supporting to design and create reports within the finance software
• oversee postings and journal entries, 
• act as escalation point for queries from finance assistants
• produce monthly management accounts, in conjunction with the Finance Manager, with commentary and analysis
• balance sheet reconciliations
• month end duties including accruals, prepayments and journal posting
• ad-hoc requirements to support the team

This role offers hybrid working (once the initial training period is complete), as well as some great staff benefits, and would suit someone with the following:

• extensive accounting experience - ideally part Qualified / Qualified or QBE
• experience of producing detailed financial reports
• strong IT and systems knowledge and experience 
• previous experience of producing monthly management accounts
