About the company:

I’m currently working with an small office fit-out and refurbishment contractor in Hampshire who are seeking an electrical and small works manager to join their team.

About the role:

  • Ensure that each project is properly planned so that materials and resources are available

  • Set out jobs from drawings and specifications and establish the requirements of a project and necessary installation materials, ensure compliance and test systems/ Certification

  • Assist with H&S Preparation and implementation

  • Attend site visits

  • Assist with Estimating / Tendering the Electrical Elements of a Project

  • Accept responsibility for the proper completion of jobs and if required supervise other operatives as well as liaising with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers when necessary

  • Manage own workload, and that of the Electrical team and sub-contractors to ensure that client commitments are met in a fast-paced environment

  • Work weekends/Out of hours if and when required

  • Oversee and manage small project Work

  • Manage the Commissioning and Test Electrical Systems & equipment & issue relevant certification

  • Manage the Electrical team and ensure they conform to high standards

Rewards and Benefits:

  • Salary: £50k - £60k (Depending on experience)
  • 22 days holiday

Requirements:

  • Completed a registered apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Trained to 18th Edition
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3
  • C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing
  • SMSTS or SSSTS training
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
  • 5years Experience in a similar Role
  • Hard working and willingness to travel
  • Excellent Communication Skills
