Project Manager (Security)

Manchester/Remote (Hybrid)

£504 per day (Outside IR35)

A Security focussed Project Manager is required for our public sector client who are based in Manchester. You will be joining the Information Systems function and will be responsible for managing and delivering a portfolio of projects and workstreams.

This role will be full-time, working on the following set of Security-related projects:

  • Implementation of enhanced Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) capabilities across all organisation endpoints
  • Implementation of multi-factor authentication (MFA) on all user accounts
  • Implementation of Privileged Access Management (PAM)

The successful candidate will be:

  • An experienced, professional Project Manager who has previously worked on similar projects, including deploying Security solutions in a hybrid environment.
  • You will ideally be from a Security engineering or architecture background.

Beneficial to have:

  • NIST 800-53, CIS 18, NCSC best practice.
  • Can understand a project, map it to technologies and make recommendations.
  • Have significant experience of business analysis working including working with budget holders to identify the systems requirements and translate them to functional specifications.
  • Have knowledge of change management from both a technical and project perspective.
  • Have experience of ITIL based IS processes.
  • Have experience in leading and facilitating change in a regulatory or public sector environment.
  • Hold a recognised project/change management qualification.
