Due to a business growth Time 4 Recruitment have an opportunity for a Temporary Project Manager in Gowerton for a two year project to join an expanding, high reputable,  award winning residential development company who build exceptional quality homes in South Wales.

As Project Manager you report to the Contracts Manager and you will oversee the construction of multi units – traditional build with timber frame and housing association.

As Project Manager you will have the enthusiasm and drive with a focus to push the project from start to finish. Forward planning and attention to detail are crucial to success in this role !!!

You will oversee all aspect of this projects including the subcontractors on the groundworks package to handover with the client.

To be considered for this role the ideal candidate will come from a timber frame and housing association background – preferably with DBS – although not essential as DBS application will be put forward for the right candidate !!!

Key responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the delivery of a project in line with Company Policy's and processes, paying particular attention to Health and Safety.
• To program projects and in turn deliver them within the agreed timescales - communicating issues as they arise in a positive and timely manner and implementing the response to minimise disruption and delay together with cost.
• To lead the liaison between all parties (client, statutory bodies, Consultants, Sub contractors, Site Operatives and Supervisors and the Senior Project Managers and Contracts Manager.
• Prepare, develop and deliver Project Health & Safety.
• Manage resources to ensure projects are delivered in a safe and compliant manner.
• Ensure adequate supervision, labour and materials are resourced.
• To handover completed projects to the Client in liaison with the Account Manager.
• To ensure that the current specification and drawings are issued and adhered to.
• To regularly communicate progress / issues relating to the delivery of projects to the Contracts Manager and senior management.
• To take responsibility for ensuring the safety and welfare of all who may come into contact with the clients operations during the construction of any project and to ensure that all relevant statutory requirements are met.
• To attend /chair, project site meetings as required.
• To act in a manner which consistently promotes the core values of the client and to help any employee, customer or supplier with any services or skills that may promote its good reputation and aid company development.

• SMSTS
• Advanced DBS preferred
• First Aid
• CSCS Card

Benefits:

• £265 to £295 per day ( Could go permanent for the right candidate )
