Do you have a passion for supporting students with behavioural needs? Are you enthusiastic about working outside the traditional classroom environment? We are looking for a dedicated Learning Mentor with driving responsibilities to join our team in a Learning Outside the Classroom (LOTC) role based in Plymouth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized support to students with behavioural needs, both one-on-one and in small groups.
• Facilitate engaging and educational activities outside the classroom, leveraging various community resources.
• Safely transport students to and from different learning locations.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to enhance student engagement and learning.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive educational environment.
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining thorough records.

Requirements:

• Experience working with students with behavioural needs is essential.
• A valid driving license and ability to drive a minibus or similar vehicle.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A commitment to supporting the well-being and educational development of students.
