We are working with an established metal product manufacturing company based in Cardiff.  They are recruiting for a Production Manager to join their team on Days (Mon-Fri) in return for a salary in the region of £60,000 + 20% bonus along with overtime opportunity and additional training and development.

The Production Manager needs to possess a strong background in team management and ensuring that production targets and KPI’s are hit / exceeded. This role will have just over 60 indirect reports and 5 direct reports (4 Production Team Leaders and 1 Continuous Improvement Manager).

Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that production targets are hit
• Liaising with other departments
• Complete daily checks
• Ensure health and safety is complied with at all times
• Motivate the team
