Quantity Surveyor
Location: Woolwich
Duration: 3-Month Initial Contract
Rate: £300 - £430 per day (Dependent on Experience)
Start Date: 5th August 2024

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a 10 year hopsital framework, to deliver FM services along with £1.5m-£5m of capital works and life-cycle works per annum. The role will be on a 3-month initial contract. This role focuses on CAPEX project works, including creating subcontractor packages and work orders, with the ability to control multiple projects simultaneously. The position offers a competitive day rate, dependent on experience, and is based in Woolwich.

Key Responsibilities:

• CAPEX Project Works: Manage capital expenditure projects, ensuring cost efficiency and project success.
• Subcontractor Packages: Create and manage subcontractor packages to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Work Orders: Develop and oversee work orders, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
• Project Control: Efficiently manage and control multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Skills:

• Sector Experience: Ideal candidates will have a background in FM sector projects, fit-out projects, or social housing planned works.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage project costs effectively.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to liaise with subcontractors, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Organisational Skills: High level of organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
