Maintenance Engineer required for new role with a leading manufacturer in Telford offering competitive salary and overall earning potential with a good shift pattern for those who like long rest periods between shifts.

Shift – Panama (12 hour shifts with every other weekend off)

Predominantly mechanical maintenance required working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for conducting PPM on machines, scheduling repairs and supporting the installation of machines and senior engineers with projects to improve machines.

This client in Telford, requires an experienced mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be required to:

• Plan and carry out routine scheduled and preventative maintenance work.
• Provide technical support to production staff
• React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue
• Installation of electrical and mechanical machinery
• Maintain documentation, log all breakdowns and servicing work.

The Maintenance Engineer should have the following skills or experience:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a manufacturing business
• Experience with both Mechanical Maintenance Engineering
• A recognised certificate/qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
