Our client, a leader in the industry, is seeking a Head of Logistics to oversee their entire logistics and warehousing operation. As the Head of Logistics, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Leading and managing the logistics and warehouse team, meeting targets and dealing with any issues that arise
• Reporting directly to the CEO and regularly updating on challenges, successes and figures.
• Managing stock control processes
• Overseeing all shipments
• Ensuring the supply chain runs smoothly, making changes where required to increase efficiency
• Building strong working relationships with all suppliers and customers
• Recruitment, including during peak time and managing staff including holidays, training and development
• Ensuring compliance with customs regulations

What are we looking for?

• Experience of a logistics management role dealing with physical products
• Experience of warehouse operations, storage and distribution
• Team Management experience
• Excellent reporting and IT skills - advanced excel and an experienced user of WMS
• Good negotiation and relationship building skills

Our client offers a competitive annual salary ranging from £65,000 to £75,000, reflecting the significance of this role within their organisation.
