Construction Site QA/QC Manager – Cheshire

£50-55 per hour (outside IR35)+ min 8hrs site time daily + travel time + overtime rates + 12month rolling contract + immediate start

Construction Site QA/QC Manager responsibilities include:

• Lead on Quality Assurance and Quality Control relating to the large construction project, ensuring that all aspects of the construction process meet & exceed quality standards.
• Manage a team of QC Inspectors, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on site.
• Monitor implemented quality control system.
• Set up and enforce quality procedures.
• Review technical specifications and quality documentation.
• Produce technical reports as required.
• Inspect products and works / coordinate quality inspections.
• Audit sub-suppliers.
• Advise & collaborate with the project team and all subcontractors.

Construction Site QA/QC Manager profile:

• HND / HNC or higher qualification in Construction management or relevant discipline.
• Chartered Construction / Quality professional.
• Recent 'mega-scale' construction site experience, preferably in Waste to Energy, Power stations, O&G, Airports or similar multi-level facilities construction projects.
• Project management professional, able to communicate collaboratively with the Principal Contractor, the client and others to ensure quality standards are met.
• A strong QA / QC background in fabrication and construction encompassing superstructures and substructures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to write technical reports.
• Experience guiding a team of contract Engineers & Inspectors, giving technical advice, support and training.
