We are working with an established equipment manufacturing company based in Macclesfield. They are recruiting for an Operations Manager to join their team on Days (Mon-Fri) in return for a salary in the region of £50,000 - £60,000 along with overtime opportunity and additional training and development.

The Operations Manager needs to possess a strong hands-on background in leading teams to ensure that production targets are hit/exceeded but also have an engineering / improvement mindset to implement improvement to processes.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Working with the Sales and Production teams to ensure targets are hit / exceeded
• A good understanding of QHSE standards
• Maintaining a safe and well organised production department
• Working closely with Senior Managers and the Managing Director

Qualifications & Experience required:

• City and Guilds / Level 3 qualification in Engineering
• Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship
