IT Service Transition Analyst

Duration: 6 months (potential extension)

IR35 status: Inside

Location: Wood Street, London (Mostly Remote)

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Service Transition Analyst to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless transition of IT Services from development into live operations, maintaining service quality and minimising disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee several projects and manage releases simultaneously.
  • Set up and lead daily/weekly calls and agendas.
  • Ensure service acceptance and lead a group of stakeholders.
  • Understand and apply current IT Service Design and Transition policies, processes, and templates.
  • Engage with the Service Design team to receive and execute work.
  • Deliver IT changes through the IT Service Transition process into live operations.
  • Raise required changes in ServiceNow or other platforms for readiness activities.
  • Ensure minimum service acceptance criteria are met for all transitions.
  • Conduct Early Life Support (ELS) reviews and agree on criteria for transitioning to BAU.
  • Monitor and document all activities using provided templates and tools.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including project managers, service providers, and IT operations teams.
  • Document all processes and updates thoroughly.
  • Participate in governance forums and provide independent validation against service criteria.

Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in implementing IT services and solutions.
  • Familiarity with the ITIL framework and service delivery.
  • Background as a Project Manager or Business Analyst with IT Service experience.
  • Strong organisational skills and process adherence.
  • Use of ServiceNow for IT service capabilities.
  • Experience in IT Change or Release management.
  • Proven track record in IT Service Management delivery, including managing third-party suppliers.
  • Involvement in Continual Service Improvement (CSI) programs.
