The Company:

National developer who focus on multi-phase schemes with a mixture of traditional build and timber frame houses. Mix of social housing and private.

The role:

Reporting directly into the Contracts Manager, the role of a Senior Site Manager requires you to have knowledge of:

• Managing all site-based construction activities
• Design coordination
• Mid and short-term programming of works
• Logistics
• Health and safety
• Review of method statements
• Risk assessments
• Call off materials.
• Quality control
• Coordination meetings
• Reporting on progress against program
• Issue resolution
• Management of site team including an assistant site managers and engineer, etc, snagging and handover.

About you:

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, demonstrating excellent technical, organisational, man-management, and communication skills. Proven track record of work for a top twenty main contractor advantageous.

Ideally from a trade, construction management or engineering background with a sharp eye for detail and finishes, you will possess strong planning and problem solving ability, with a positive, 'get it right first time' approach.

You will possess your SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications for this role.
