Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Casework Co-ordinator to join the team in Weston-Super-Mare. In this role, you will support clients in maintaining their housing to a high standard of health and safety, assist with managing their finances, and help with completing benefit forms and budgeting. This is a permanent, part-time position requiring 30 hours per week on a flexible rota, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients in maintaining their housing to a high standard of health and safety.
  • Assist clients in managing their finances and budgeting.
  • Help clients complete benefit forms and navigate the benefits system.
  • Provide personalized support to individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Strong understanding of housing maintenance, health and safety standards.
  • Experience in managing finances and budgeting.
  • Ability to assist clients in completing benefit forms and understanding the benefits system.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a commitment to improving clients' lives.
  • A full UK driving licence with business insurance.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required by the rota.
